Take the Caledon turn off and drive straight through the town. The road will fork – R320 to the right and R316 to the left. Take the R316.
Travel through Napier and into Bredasdorp. Go through the town until you come to a cross road on the edge of the town with the R319. Turn right. Follow the road for about 3 Km and you’ll see a sign pointing right to Elim / Die Dam. Turn right and follow the road to Elim.
You’ll pass a turning to Die Dam on your left and then Black Oystercatcher wines. Carry on straight for about 1 Km and you’ll find The Berrio. You can’t miss us – look for a long line of palm trees on your left hand side. Once you’ve turned into our property you’ll see the tasting room directly ahead of you.
From Hermanus
Take the R43 and head for Stanford. Pass by Stanford, drive through Gansbaai and pass Pearly Beach.
Carry on along the R43 until you come to a T-Junction. Turn Left to Wolvengat (Viljoenshoof). Carry on along this road (a gravel road) until you get to a “main” gravel road that directs you to left to Wolvengat (Viljoenshoof) and right to Bredasdorp. Turn Right.
Go straight along that road, past Strandveld Vineyards on your right until you come to another T-Junction. Signage directs you left to Elim or right to Bredasdorp. Turn left.
You’ll pass Black Oystercatcher on your left after you’ve turned and approximately 1Km along you’ll find The Berrio. You can’t miss us – look for a long line of palm trees on your left hand side. Once you’ve turned into our property you’ll see the tasting room directly ahead of you.
From Swellendam
Travel out of Swellendam on the N2 heading for Cape Town. Look out for the turning on the left onto the R319 to Bredasdorp. Turn Left.
You’ll come into the town of Bredasdorp on All Saints Street. Look out for the intersection with the R316 (Lang Street) and turn left. Lang Street will then intersect with Rec Street which is the R319 again. Turn right.
Follow the road for about 3 Km and you’ll see a sign pointing right to Elim / Die Dam. Turn right and follow the road to Elim. You’ll pass a turning to Die Dam on your left and then Black Oystercatcher wines.
